What does "viewfinderless' mean? No eye-level finder? Even a live-view screen is viewfinder.

Even a live-view screen is viewfinder.

Not to everybody, the English language isn't clear here. Not every means to find your view is considered a viewfinder, e.g., a red pointing laser isn't. A majority of readers in English don't seem to consider the rear LCD a VF. Also, in some other languages like German, the rear LCD never is considered a VF ("Sucher").

I am sure Adam just confirmed the K-01 has no EVF, at least no built-in one.

One positive benefit is it might be cheap. It also depends on how an add-on EVF would integrate with the camera. If it sits flush an basically looks like a standard VF bump then I don't see an add-on EVF as a negative. However if it connects to the hotshoe and seems awkward... then well.

I would love to see an EVF- that would give the camera the potential to appeal more to current SLR users and pros alike. In any case, I'm looking forward to Thrusday!
