Pentax 560mm ?

AW is a real term for the DA* sealing, it's written down on the side of the DA*16-50 box i've, can make a photo for the non believers

I hope it's FF compatible.. I might even pick it up and adapt it to my D800 if so!

It's almost certain that it will be FF compatible; the longer a lens is, the less difference there is between a FF lens and a APS-C lens. I'm unaware of any >200mm prime that is APS-C only, actually (but of course I'm not familiar with every lens).

The number (focal length) is the number, regardless of whether or not the lens is FF or APS-C.

The only "AW" I've seen in a tag is with Lowepro bags...

It has all the hallmarks of the DA* series. I never thought I would be interested in buying such a long lens, but we'll see....

I don't really care what it looks like as long as AF speed is ok and its sharp. I needed this lens yesterday....
