Yes and no... It would just seem things in Europe are just expensive (at least in regards to the brand new stuff)... look at the K-5IIs there, they have them listed at 1,199 euro or ~$1550USD...

Unless Google messed up the conversion, the K-5IIs is ~1067 euro in Romania or about 1381 USD (including the 24% VAT). The 560mm f/5.6 is ~6177 euro, or ~7997 USD.

How thay intend to convince us to buy it... HD? Screw Drive? The last one can actually work taking into account SDM failure..... This is simple 7elements construction.... lets not get them chicked us...., this is plain stupid!!!!

The primes on that list are faster and may be better optically. This new lens is rivaling the price of the FA* 600/4
