I really wonder what that 50mm f/1.8 is going to look like, as Pentax never had an optical design like that.

I want to see the 560mm, but that 50mm f1.8 better be amazing or cheap if it is going to sit with the 55 1.4......

I wonder if they slightly restricted the aperture of the old FA50/1.7, just like they did with the FA35/2 > DA35/2.4. I reckon it will be cheap as well, probably plastic mount.

I wish it had been a 50mm/f1.2 or even better a 30mm/f1.2

Mirror lens, lol? Get out of there! At F5.6 with an APS-C image circle the 560mm should be quite compact still.

Well, we're going with the "expect the worst" and you'll always be happy mentality here

Adam, have you read the press release yet? It's not much of a leap to see a mirror is a possibility, something I never suspected prior to that press release.

I honestly don't think it's out of the realm of possibilities, although I really hope it's not (and deep down don't think it is). Sony had a 500/8 mirror lens (that covered FF). Maybe this is a 560/5.6 mirror lens that covers a crop sensor. In a way, it wouldn't surprise me as that would make it a ~$500 lens instead of a ~$2500 lens.

There is no way it's a Mirror, and I'm willing to bet on it...
