I would just like to keep everyone posted that our CP+ interview with Pentax Japan has been confirmed. It will take place on Saturday. More details & special thanks will be posted following the interview!

Actually, on that note we've also written them a letter

It should be on its way tomorrow and it will be sent to Japan on behalf of Pentax Europe. See the full-frame sticky in this forum for details

Not really made a jump as I already "added" a full frame to my collection. But if Pentax decide to go full frame, they will get more money from me. That is for sure.

Will be interesting to see if they held back any news for us.
Would be nice to see what FL that K-01 mockup lens is meant to be.
Also special ed colours of K-01 (All silver or All Black) shouldn't be too sensitive to talk about.

For sure we also want more details about the 560mm f/5.6, beyond the usual marketing speak. What's the rationale behind this lens? Ultimate IQ or cost? Who is the intended buyer? What's Pentax hoping to achieve with this lens?

They will not say more to us than to the market. Confidential info will stay confidential. Dont expect a lot , otherwise you will be disapointed. If sometime big is said, than you will be happy

Could you please include questions about

full frame plans
K-5 successor plans
SDM reliability plans
tethering software plans (more than just shutter release and image transfer) for models other than the 645D?

Tangible camera without a mirror and with many interchangeable lenses... If you can touch it it is real

so I think the K-01 is a "real" a mirrorless system.
