If software can do that in PP (stitching) then it can also be done in camera.

Here's what i heard. Pentax has a FF camera or not. It will be released this year or in the next 100. Best part is that it costs nothing since is not out.

Please mention your source when start (over and over) topics about FF Pentax.

Pentax has prototype of FF body for several years. Like Pentax had 645D and Pentax Q's idea, bodies and prototypes before. They simply wait for good and cheap FF sensor.

But that is 24 megapixel CCD from Dalsa. So what are the chances on that?

the story about a Pentax FF DSLR reminds me of my time as a gamer and the anticipation for a Diablo 2 sequel. Every year there were rumours but it never came. They will be releasing it this year, but its about 5 years too late for many

The pentax lens roadmap (source: http://www.pentaximaging.com/files/pdf/lens_roadmap.pdf) does not suggest or allow for FF - unless the three FA primes are enough for full frame users who want to use auto focus.

Well three lenses was enough for Fuji to start with their own system. So the answer to that is: Yes, it is enough!

No 24Mpx FF.
This rumour is about the K5 "improvement".
The new body is rumoured to be the same as the body of K7-K5 with only minor tweaks (button layout changes slightly to include a direct movie capture feature) and possibly a better (not bigger) screen.
The sensor seems to be the expected Sony one, as used in the NEX7.
It was expected to be released in June, but apparently all Pentax releases have fallen behind after the latest merge, and September seems to be the most logical release date.
It is worth noticing that after releasing this, the K5 will not be discontinued, but remain in production.

NEX-7's sensor....I doubt. But...maybe...
K-5's replacement - we will see such camera after Nikon's announcement of D7000's replacement. It's the sign.
