Why not? EST could be European Summer Time or Australian Eastern Standard Time. Well, I know it's related to something in US, but this is an international forum and I don't think everyone here is well informed about time zones and their names in US. There are time zones in other parts of the world, too. And there are also other countries large enough to span multipple zones.

It's not the exciting "exclusive" that I thought we might see (with the release time restrictions and all) but it was still a great interview

Thanks Adam!

I like how he was very adamant on the feel and advantages of reflex design and also usability and quality of Pentax. FF doesn't sound good but there is a real emphasis on 'Unique' offering and mentioning that 35mm has been constantly in mind so who knows?

Good to see a possible replacement for the 16-50 ! This was possibly the only real 'news' that came out of that IMHO

So what are these secret lenses???? Here we go!

That was an excellent interview that I believe just opened the flood gates on more speculation. But it did bring some welcome news of the DA*16-50 replacement that will hopefully knock the siggy and tamron substitutes off their perch!

Thanks to everyone who helped get this interview to the pentax community!

if its a 2.8 then good replacement, but somehow i just cannot see it being a 2.8, maybe f/4. Which is a worrying step backwards me thinks...
