I got the invitation about three weeks ago. If they got the date wrong you should probably tell the press agency.

Or maybe there are several different events.

Me too.
My guess is that the date 24. has travelled between timezones. The 24. in Paris, becomes 23. in another zone.

All I can tell you is that it's the 23rd in Paris. I have the invitation before my eyes. If they changed the date I'll know soon enough.

Just realised:

The embargodate is 24. So it could make perfect sense that the Paris event is the 23. One day ahead of embargo will give reporters a day to write whatever they have to write.

Well when ever it is, I guess I will see you there....and if you are there you will have a ball, as what we are doing is a first for a press conference. Are you with the Press?

I bet Pentax could draw quite a bit of attention if they started streaming their press conferences.

I know Apple used to do this and they started to gain huge momentum? Coincidence? I think not! (If you ignore the iPod and iMac successes, you have to assume it was the streaming of press conferences, right?)

The Paris Press conference is the featured event for all of Europe...There will be between 70 and 80 representatives from the Press there.
