Amazing. Isn't it?

I already heard about this news even before the release of k10d. Japanese are always a fan of pentax - the 2nd hand market trades on pentax lenses like how they trade playstation games - hot market.

This is definitely going to push up the market price of all the second hand lenses even further - good news?

Wow! I'm surprised to see the Sony Alpha(?) is in the #4 position despite my hearing that it was a flop here in North America. No intention of knocking down Sony because I'm sure the same CCD in the Sony Alpha is in use in the Nikon D80 and the K10D (Sony must be happy too! LOL). What's more surprising (in a good way) is that a 6MP DSLR (K100D) is in the top 3! Go Pentax!

No, not really good news... I still want to hope to find a mint A300/4 with a decent price... :ugh:

Good news for Pentax!

But this also means that the lens prices on ebay are going to rise even more.

Let's hope some 3rd party lens maker will bring out more new lenses in Pentax mount.
