As long as it's not called the K-Y I think I can wait for it.

I think the K-01 has a host of hints at the K-s. 16.8Mp, PRIME M, Focus Peaking LCD, consumer HD video with a pentamirror viewfinder or maybe an EVF. There sure is a fuzzy hump in the shadows. PDAF/CDAF depending on VF or LCD, etc.

K3 will be the big dog, for now, then 2013.

just make the K-5 replacement in 2 colors option, silver and black or black and silver, and make it look like the K-1000 and we have a winner , camera of the year .
then make a special edition in brown and gold , with new golden 40mm LTD

Looks like K-z to me after resizing and Topaz InFocus treatment.

All this talk of the switch from Hoya to the serious Ricoh and this is what we get ... a gazillion different colors?
And a gazillion new lenses, a designer mirrorless camera, more openness in communicating, rehires of lens designers who were the mainstay of their great products, and all in <5 months time!!

Yup, that's what we got alright!

It's not a blurred K-5, nor a SF-1. It's clearly a picture of a gorilla.
And obviously they did not fix the front focusing problem that some people have experienced.

Considering what they actually communicate with an ad like this, they must be seriously out of features for the K-r successor, possible a "dead" Hoya body project that Ricoh inherited that is already too far gone in the production to stop now?

K-z speaks for itself being the last K-<insert letter> body and probably the end of the K-body era as we know it today, I would be very surprised if they release a K3.

K-z isn't going to sound any good in Germany...

Well, I walked back and stood at 6 meters distance from my monitor and it definitely says "K-2". Big grip though; looks like the DA40XS is attached to it.

From what I can see in the blurred pic, the flash bulge seems more recessed than previous models. Also the grip looks like the one in Z/PZ series, which is nice. Just don't put the dial back of the shutter, like canon do, which is awful ergonomics.

I think it's going back to Pentax's DSLR roots, the difficult to type and pronounce Pentax *ist D.

The new name is Pentax K-~

Or maybe the K-=

My vote's still on K-z. And Radix's PP supports this.
