My vote's still on K-z. And Radix's PP supports this.
Anyway the name won't change anything important in our Pentaxian universe. Not unless it's a full frame camera

for sure K-z

I think this could be a pretty interesting camera:
100% viewfinder coverage?
16 MP?
5-6 FPS?
Just my guess,
what price though?
Ricoh Pentax will want to intice alot of new buyers into the market so I suspect alot of value in this camera. They will try to smoke the competition when comes to specs, we will see if they manage to get it into stores though.

The 100% viewfinder coverage is true as that was what was declared in a Japanese interview a few months ago.

Offcourse this is a Hoya product. This is probably the camera that would find it's way to the market last oktober at the Salon the la Photo in Paris. Lots of thing also appearing in K-01. Now Pentax makes three camera's futuring the same sensor module with the 16 megapixel sensor from Sony. Al have the same battery and backscreen. Only K-5 is running on PRIME II while the new ones have PRIME M. I guess the rest will come at photokina or do we think another present is coming in may?

Right, it's a $600 Full Frame.

Sounds like the perfect camera for those fussy with the K-01 colour and lack of viewfinder!

Seriously as others have said it sounds like a natural progression of the multi-coloured Kr - must of been a successful marketing ploy
in Japan - I doubt this would be offered in western markets.
Also sounds like another Hoya era product- getting very excited to see what Ricoh will bring to the table

Like Olympus, it would be nice if the K-r replacement also went down the retro DSLR design path... I'd be very happy if the teaser suggested it might look like this:

That rumour is kind of a bummer.. the main selling point is that there are a bunch of possible colour combinations? Ugh, thanks? But does it take pictures?

Yeah, IMO it means little to many of us enthusiasts (and those of us watching rumors, ironically), but it does make for a strong selling point for new consumers. K-r sales were certainly upped by the color options. It gives new buyers a sense of personal style in their electronics, instead of being lost in the Canikon shuffle.

FocusMagic.

This has no normal blur kernel and the image probably doesn't display a "z". Real or not is another story.

If it's K-z... it MUST should be the last of the K<letter> line. It will be known as the "color combo line" in history...
