They can call it whatever they like, just bring it to the market. I don't think they should listen to the german Pentax or whatever about k-z. Germany is not the same country, and if they feel somehow wrong about it is their problem. As stated before by someone else (here or other forum), Porsche is still selling 911 in USA, right?

If it has no QC problems and AF is accurate, i would take one even if they call it k-sh1t. It is a camera, not a political statement. Just bring the thing to the market, whatever the name!

In an ideal world where everybody perfectly understands each other, that might work. Sadly, this world ain't one of those. So whatever reason one market may not like something's name is, it's best to respect that.

Though K-kk sounds awesome... like some Zerg mumbling. lol

Well, all this fuss about the hyptothetical K-Z but noone yell at manufacturers often carefully avoiding using the number 4 in product.
In fact I was surprised to a Nikon D4.
Saw an LX4? Nope. See a 4th floor in Asia in buildings? No. See a rank number 4 in planes? often not. Still, nobody yells.

This reminds me of a sale Mitsubishi had a while back on cars. The promotion was something like 0% interest for a year, $0 down payment, and $0 balloon payment. The commercial exclaimed, "The Mitsubishi ZERO ZERO ZERO sale!" They way they said it sounded like, "Tora! Tora! Tora!" to me.

Today i picked up a rumor that we will see a new Pentax Camera in june - july. I was told that it would be priced 200 € below the K-5, but still have weather sealing. That sounded to me like a replacement for the long gone K200D. There was also a wage rumor about the K-5 beeing replaed in september. Unfortunatly i have no specs for eather, so your guess is as good as mine.
