Well, Pentax France sold me a bunch of their leftover stock right before their service dept was outsourced to P2MS... Ridiculous price, too : 5€ piece, so I bought 5 of them! Cut two for my DSLRs, installed one in my MZ-6, gave one to my brother for its MZ-5n, can't remember what I did with the last one...

You still have the option to buy a whole MZ-m just for its screen...

Oh, so there's no way to get spares for old Pentax Film bodies in France anymore?

Well, it's simply the best accessory I ever bought! Linear metering, f/1.6 DoF, just perfect for all these old MF lenses (and also to check what is actually in focus when using my f/1.4 AF lenses)...

Cost is a strong word : 30€ (delivered) is a ridiculous price for a FF high-precision screen! Cutting it was quite straightforward...
Granted, I've previously cut two MZ-M screens for my brother's and my own K20, so I had some experience on what to do and what to avoid!

Anyway, with a Samyang 85/1.4, it's the only way to go! And you can focus anywhere on the screen, big plus compared to splits...

Thanks a lot ... I saw that you used the "ee-s" and that you had the Samy 85/1.4 plus a FA 50/1.4. The Samy and a SMC M 50/1.4 are two lenses that I am looking hard at for future acquisitions ...

Plus I just picked up a CZJ Prakticar 50/1.4 MC in PB mount (really cheap) that I hope to modify towards PK mount ... if you know anything about such a conversion, SVP, let me know. On Amazon.it this body with the kit came for 982,50 € ...
I haven't checked before the increase of the price on Usa but sure like hell that isn't cheap!

Outside Amazon, the body only, can find for € 785,00, but i don't known which warranty is present.
This make a big difference on term of future cost of shipping and assistence since on Italy they refuse to service product without italian warranty.

€729 with 2 year warranty + you can fight it in court for more, PP is not included.

You have pretty nice prices. Over here (still in EU) the 50-135 costs 1049€.
Even the DA 16-45 costs 499€, while on B&H it goes for $399. Maybe your country is the next to have a lens price increase
