If that was aimed at me, I didn't mean I don't like this thread. It's been really interesting, but I just wish some new piece of news would crop up.

If Adam is right in saying there will be something announced at Photokina in September... then wait for/expect leaks from Mr. Blurrycam in August

Aw come on, I was hoping Ricoh would fire that guy and get working on a new AF system!

One of the rumors: K-r successor and one lens might be announced in 20s of May.

on the kr successor thread there is a leaked image from an upcoming catalogue from a french store with a K30 - looks to be a K5 with 25600 iso limit (maybe 12 bit like the K-01) and no top lcd and likely pentamirror versus pentaprism. OTOH dual wheel, 16mp, WR.... 799 euro w 18-55 wr)
There is a photo show in Australia next week, bet it is official there

Sounds like the middle camera in a 3 camera apsc lineup to me

nope i mean a model below this 1 (the K-01 isn't a DSLR)

So a non WR more stripped down DSLR. like this minus dual wheels, minus WR to start maybe iso limited to 12800. more like a kx with upgraded sensor but none of the bells and whistles from this
so
K300
K30
K3

and of course the LX D FF

No , not K-01 D-slr to me ...

K300 = This summer to compete with the nikon D3200 (price)
K30 = We now know (futur D5200)
K3 = The K5 will be 2 years old soon and need a replassant

Exactly - K3 will almost certainly be the 24mp Sony sensor, Mag alloy (which the K30 is likely missing) 14 bit versus the 12 bit processing of the k-01 (and likely the K30) and maybe a whole slew of other features (Tilting LCD screen, higher flash sync speed, more af points, dual card slot....the list of potential options is large)

The K300 is most likely a stripped version of the K30 maybe with some deliberate crippling (like max iso or focus point selection - but most definitely i don't see removing the in body focus motor like nikon does)

The reason I asked was this:

I didn't say the K-01 was a dSLR because it is NOT. The K-01 is an aps-c interchangeable lens K-mount camera. What I was asking Eddie was for clarification on the 3 aps-c model comment.

My bad I thought I'd put DSLR in there. I don't really think of mirrorless in context of these (though I can imagine a second K-0 model coming as well with EVF optional or built in and maybe WR. Even a tilt screen.
just a different lineup

K-300 = (perhaps still K-letter in some countries) = probably multicolored!
K-30 = now we only need to verify further, but a K-5 guts in a K-r body sounds awesome already.
K-3 = too many features to speculate =)) but I'm sure it'll have manual controls in video mode as well as video AF.
...+ LX-D? hahah still praying for one to finally appear!
