New Pentax DSLR camera will be announced on May, 2012. With new lens. It seems to me - DA50/1.8

I think not later than May, 23.

It seems likely that the first camera to be announced would be either the entry level or one step above camera... since right now the K5 is the only Pentax DSLR.

well KR replacement was rumoured for spring so I'm guessing you are right (likely the entry one, with the WR stuff reserved for Photokina)

I like how Pentax Japan put a strike-through on the description "standard" for the DA 50mm f/1.8 lens and made it a "medium-telephoto"

they did though.....it's the K5

hopefully the next gen (including the mythic mystery FF) continue in that vein, I agree the ergonomics on the K7 are near perfect, I love mine

Man, you know what would really make my day? If Pentax announced a nice big pro camera.. with a sensor even smaller than APS-C
