Pentaprism?! in this level? very very nice. I personally would have liked the AE-L button on the upper right corner, but is just fine there. Also a external mettering dial/button would had been a killer feature, but that's for the next level.

I'm very partial to the white color scheme, especially the one that Pentax does. I have a white car.. white jacket... white k-x.. all of them with black accents. But I must not get a white K-30! It attracts too much attention lol

it also has AFS AFC switch (entry level only AFS and M switch)
it also has TAV mode
it is really a great value. save some money over k-5

It looks like a proper 'boys toy' doesn't it? (Not too subtle with the styling!) Like it though, especially in white.

I'm with Jin there. Methinks the Blue looks like a toy, the black looks boring and the white just looks awesome. I really like the black remote release door.

I cant help thinking coloured cameras just look cheap. its bad enough they are made of plastic these days. Being coloured is
a bit like rubbing salt in the wound
