Hi Frank,

It's always a pleasure to see that signature pic of yours!

Cracks me up every time!

For your information, it was 6:29 am in France when you posted your message... I could almost hear Ben snoring....
Thanks Used to change signature pic once in a while. But kinda like to keep this one for abit longer

Like your sig pic too, still remember the first time saw it at DPR ...

Speak Soon.

Did you already turn on the camera?

But can I already get such kind of camera? I "need" one from somewhere next week until the beginning of March... Then I am travelling through Chile and Peru. And of course my K100D is then not good enough...

Hey Ben,

Can you tell if the "new toy" produces less CA, such as from the DA* 16-50 at 16mm, f2.8?

John
I am thinking "Both"

I don't understand your statement

What are you talking about?? Getting free or discounted equipment does not mean that person works for the company. In the camera industry VERY few pros are on a camera manufacturers' payroll. It doesn't matter if it's Ben or anyone else - they are not normally on a camera company's payroll.

Example: Chase Jarvis is a respected lifestyle photographer (who shoots Nikon), and is the incoming president for Blue Earth Alliance. He's not on Nikon's payroll...

Sorry...

Cheers,
Marc

Tous les deux!

" The quietest camera I have ever experienced " ---> Shutter sound

" Noise levels are ridiculously low and...
The noise specs are better then "C" by a large margin.... " -- comparing with C

...........!

There have been several allegations that being sponsored by Pentax implies being biased in my assessment of there products. I have also been accused of working "FOR" Pentax and as a result my credibility has been considered too biased to be believable.
