Nikon D600 24 MP FF will be real. Not rumor. The price is USD 1500.

Full HD with 30p, 25p, 24p, HD with 60p, 50p, 30p, 25p

I have no doubt it will be real, I do doubt $1500 at launch. with the rumoured feature set @ 1500 it will kill the higher end apsc market (d300 level will go, D7000 will need to drop to 999 level) I've said it before this camera if it releases at this price will be a massive game changer in the enthusiast level market. If it is old lens compliant I will move over to Nikon myself and start collecting old AI lenses and older af primes/ zooms and sell off a bunch of other gear.

It really is a too good to be true list for the price point isn't it. Either that or Nikon has decided this is the year they will dominate and begin overtaking Canon and they aren't even looking at anyone else
D3200 will sell like hotcakes IMO, D800 has already locked that section down, D4 is insanely good - now there is just the enthusiast level to look at. D5100, D7000 and D300 all due for replacement. D600 is the D300 replacement, what will the other 2 look like given the D600 price/feature set??)

I cannot see Nikon trumping the D800 at US$3,000 for a US$1,500 close competitor.

Basically you just quoted a D800 with SD cards only and 12 less MP's.

They are called rumours for a reason.

Maybe it's a black and white version only , like the Leica Monochrom.

Why don't we just beat Pentax to the punch and announce the new FF K3 here?

Oh right, it already happened. On 1 April. But who noticed?

What I have seen so far is that the price is guesswork. The specifications may be true though.

Theres only one source for all the specification regardless on how many web pages it is on. The original source also says thers 80% chance of a sub $2000 FF body (didn't the Canon 5D already sell for that amount?).

What I can anayze from this is that the camera will be entry level FF, which do not mean entry level DSLR, and the price is so far guesswork.

BTW if it uses the old Sony 24mp sensor then its performance will be underwhelming.

These specs are outrageous for $1500. I'd be on the mile-long waiting list if this comes to fruition...

K-z (K-300) could be real soon. The operation like K-r, more colours, 16 MP. Between K-01 and K-30. Cheaper than K-30. Approx. 600 USD for body.

I heard it too...And we have such info at this (our) forum...

Didn't we have a leak a month or so ago on somehting that has a lot of color options. It seemed to have more color options than what the K30 has. So I would expect it will be the K300 model. No leaks on any specs expect it will have a lot of color options.

Yeah, there was one or two OOF photos of what was supposed to be the K-r replacement and a whole thing from Photorumors about 12(?) body colors x 12(?) grip colors. I recall these things based upon what "topic" of debate was current at the time.

For a couple weeks we had a running debate about what KZ would mean to Germans. That was the K-z colors thing.

That was right after we had a running debate about what K-01 Newson means to Pentax and right before we had a running debate about whether Pentax should implement UPP price increases.

Right now we're having a running debate about whether Pentax should offer non-WR lenses in a kit with a WR camera.

Sometime in here somebody might actually buy something or take a picture.

We dont know that. Whatever it is... its smart and well planned by Nikon.

Imho i dont believe this is something they just: "oh no, look at Ricoh taking over Pentax, we need to do something"

So there will be a K-3 soon, with APS-C ...

Let's keep the hopes up for 2013 then, for the K2D, or whatever they'll chose to name their first FF...
