Personally I don't think that Rickster's spec's are right.
I'm basing my opinion on the fact that pretty well everyone agrees the new camera is a 14.6 mp camera, not a 15.10 mp camera.

But them again I can wait. I don't even plan on logging in on the 28th, or 29th giving others a chance to take a peak at it first.

The competition won't have half the technology the K20D has... but again there are areas for improvement.

Remeber the D300 only does like 2.8FPS in 14 bit RAW, so if 3FPS is 14 bit RAW it's already faster than the competition

They also didn't state effective MP or total MP

Actually, the sensor resolution posted by Rick is most likely accurate. The 15.10 MPixels would actually refer to the total number of pixels not the effective ones. The effective ones from the specs above are: 4672x3120=14576640 Pixels (14.6 MP rounded up).

If you look at the K10D's sensor specs, it was a 10.75 MP sensor with 10.2 MP effective. So as far as resolution is concerned, it's all still in line with the rumors (especially that we heard the K200D is getting the same sensor as one currently in the K10D).

That still doesn't mean the rest of the specs are correct. And as Chris has already mentioned, these specs don't show much of Pentax's new 'bomb' features.

Yes but the thing that amazes me is that, from what I have seen, the 40D does 6fps in 14 bit RAW...

It could be rumor's specs. Not confirmed.

Eos 40d Fps

The DIGIC III processor does strictly 14 Bit images in Raw and there seems to be little doubt that the 40D will do 6.5 FPS in RAW

Ah, faster than 3 fps in 12 bit would be better. 6 fps 12 bit would be even better for BIF and action, but that assumes good AF performance. As for 1/250 sync, I think that would be advantageous for studio shooters using studio lighting.

I have no link, only a good friend that has the 40D and is shooting at 6fps with it in 14bits raw... maybe he is confused (he is a Canon shooter after all... ) but he sure looks convinced!

Too early to tell but I am not sure that the K20D will be targeted at action shooters...

It might be more of a landscape/studio camera from what I suspect (same AF as K10? same 1/4000s/1/160s X-sync. shutter?)

Almost OFFICIAL
Samsungs neuer Bildsensor: CMOS, APS-C, 14 MP | photoscala

Highspeed and performance - powered by Samsung“: Apart from extremely small energy consumption is characterised the new sensor from Samsung development lab by extreme speed and a high sensitivity clearance.
Also in things intoxication poverty sets the image converter new yardsticks - and even with the highest sensitivity of ISO the 1600. A new Highspeed Bildprozessor (likewise from Samsung development) ensures for the fact that by the sensor supplied the raw data are prepared fast and with maximum quality

mmmmh... ISO 1600 max sensitivity?

Could ISO 3200/6400 be "software" sensitivities..?
