I wonder if the 20 frames per second is full res. if the noise preformance is better and the 14.6 megapixels are not only in a 16:9 ratio then i might get one ill have to see once it comes out but wow good find.

So apparently it can shoot 20fps at 1.6mp? Think it can go in between?

Like could it shoot, say, 10fps at 6mp? 7fps at 10mp?

Anyone know if the K200D will have liveview? If not what would the advantage of it opposed to the K10D besides size? If it cost more then looks like I am in for the K10D if it is cheaper. There seems to be no WOW factor for me personaly with the K20D so no need to go into anymore debt than need be.

At best, the K200D seems to me a K10D with scene modes and and a slightly larger LCD. Did I miss anything?

What i have read so far it is 20 fps at 1.6MP.

My question would be wether it will AF between the shots?

or simply lock AF and exposure at the first frame. That is what my D3 does at 11 fps...

Ben, any chance you would try it out, or be allowed to tell?

Thanks. It may be an advantage for begginers such as myself and my wife to spend a little extra and get the 200. I would like to see a little more input on it though.

I really hope there's some room in-between. I'd gladly drop to 6mp for 5 or 6 fps when shooting birds. 20 fps is, perhaps, a touch faster than I'd personally need

Yes, but I doubt that conclusion is correct. The 1.6M JPEG number for burst mode is what allows the K20 to fit up to 115 frames in its buffer. I assume it can also do (shorter) bursts at higher resolution.

This is how I first interpreted the translation myself, but I thought maybe some could (actually translate) translate it better than I could, so I went along with them.

Where are you Ben?!
