What do you think about K20D and K200D price?

I guess its about right...

K200 body 699

K200 with lens 799

A200 with lens 699

Xsi body 799

Xsi body with lens 899

The biggest gap I see is between the A200 and K200...you get the same pixels and both come with a lens, but the Sony is 100 less. This is supposing the IQ is somewhat close.

Canon however has bypassed the 10mp mark and with a 12mp CMOS censor has gone to 100 to 200 dollars more...but still quite a bit less than the K20 with similar features and a bigger LCD (if that matters? looks kinda funny if you ask me).

looks like the Japanese will have it a lot cheaper and earlier... Tried to buy one and am now waiting for the confirmation email:

Pentax K20D from Kyoeioptics/Japan

its about GBP 700.00 or Euro 1000.00

I think Pentax prepares a place for a KxxxxD entry level camera such as a not weathersealed 10MP DSLR.
