limited-edition Marc Newson-designed camera pouch for the PENTAX K-01

Four months after the last post in this thread and you can still order this so called limited to only 300 pouch at the Pentax web store. Says it ships in 1 business day too. I guess Marc Newson doesn't have 300 friends with $300 to buy his 300 signed pouches. It's kinda crazy that the pouch basically costs about the same amount as the camera body.

Yep, but pretty much expected. A cessories like those always end that way at a time or another when they are specific to camera.
So if they do a luxury version if such an accessory, no wonder ...

Lol. I don't think Marc has any photo friends- only designers! The only think keeping the K-01 alive is its great IQ and the killer price.

. To be fair, if it didn't take K glass even at this price Pentaxians wouldn't have bought them out at most retailers that discounted them this past weekend.

I find it's distinctive "toy appearance" most welcome, in a world of basically (very) pretentious people.
