Who's coming to the Tuesday event in Chicago? I will be there and hopefully filming it will be okay with the Pentax Reps there.

At one time Creve Coeur Camera was the largest B&M Pentax dealer in the US ( may still be). You would think they would have an event. Would like to compare the 645 to my Q. Just kidding . Love my Q and would love to have a 645D. Already have a loaner K-30. Glad Pentax is touring the country.

For those going to the Chicago one tomorrow, be aware that parking at the Hyatt hotel for about 2 hours is going to run you $30.

Alternatives can be found here ---> 57 E. Wacker Drive - Parking Lot - Parkopedia

The hotel is at the corner of E. Wacker and Stetson, I'm going to try parking at spot #18 or 20 on the map- it is only $13 for evening parking there.

And yet still nothing when it comes to planning an event in the D.C. metropolitan area, which makes total sense since it is only the 7th largest metropolitan (by population) in the country, and only second on the list of metropolitan areas by median household income. And if you count the Baltimore area (30 miles away), there are a scant 7-8 million people. So why would you ever want to promote a new product in a market like that?

Beginning I think in 1975!! IIRC my grandmother bought my KX (which was my college graduation present) from Creve Couer Camera.

OMG, I'm so bummed out! I only saw this after the Chicago event passed. I work real close and could have easily come by after work! I could have played with a 645D! Ack!

Yep, me too. Given that I just discovered last weekend that my local store had just got - in stock - a K30, Q, K-01 (yellow!), WGII, and VS-20. All I'm missing putting hands on is the 645D. I'm considering bringing my original 645 for a fun comparison.
