K-30 hands on tour

PENTAX in the U.S. will be having a hands-on tour with the brand new K-30 where you can learn about the features of the K-30. Demo cameras including the K-30, Q, K-01 and 645D will be at each event as well as a selection of lenses. An Optio WG-2 will be given away at each tour stop as well as a special offer on the K-30. Attendees can also enter to win our grand prize—a K-30. The drawing for the K-30 will take place August 9th. Locations, dates and times are below.

Sounds great.

I attended a Pentax roadshow event for the K-7 in San Jose, California, back when that camera was being rolled out. It was very informative, and a terrific hands-on opportunity.

Don't see why Pentax couldn't have a tour stop in Atlanta, which is, after all, a major metropolitan area.

Way cool. That's going on my calender right now. The last one in 2009 for the K-7 was really cool. About time!

Can you actually fly anywhere within the us without going through Atlanta? But how about Charlotte, Nashville, Miami, New Orleans, etc.?

A few years ago I spent a year flying all over the country (work-related) except for the Southeast, and never did go thru Atlanta. Only twice did I have a connecting flight.

I figured Atlanta would be the most centralized for the region.

IIRC the joke when I was in college in Virginia was, "When you die here and go to heaven, you change planes in Atlanta."
