I was in Target yesterday and the girl there said she thinks they may actually stock some once it gets closer to the holiday season.

That would be my guess, they will look at their top 20-30% of locations for SLR sales and try it out in those for the Holiday season, or if Pentax is really aggressive it will roll out wider and be part of an ad campaign

Even WalMart, B-Buy etc. have had some Pentax gear on their web sites during the Hoya Boys boys reign of terror.

Walmart.com used to have the Pentax K5. I bought one there. But alas not in sotre.

You can get a K30 with 18-55 lens at Costco online and they will throw in a FREE 14mp P&S weather resistant camera to boot for $899 with free s&h.

The description on the Costco site very clearly states that the camera comes with the standard kit lens, not the weather resistant one. Just to clarify.

They changed it. It did indicate, and the graphic still indicates, that it was shipping with the 18-55 WR lens.

This is the problem with 3 concurrent threads on exactly the same topic.
