Absolutely, the K5 is worlds most rugged DSLR. I've seen video's of it being showered, buried in sand and I myself use it in the worst weather conditions possible without any worry. It now has almost How on earth is it possible that some people still manage to break it?

Also, the photo has an odd white balance icon on the grip. And the blog even lists the source as being this forum's april fools joke. Though some of the specs might actually be correct, I guess.

I say only about specs.

Photo is fake. But FF will be close to the body of K-5's size. IMO.

He *might* just know what he's talking about and the "IMO" is an after-the-statement addition to make it sound a little less "for sure."

But then again, he could just be taking a stab in the dark—guesswork.

ogl seems to be in the know for some things - he was like this prior to the official K-30 announcement and wasn't wrong.

He was completely right with K-7. I could testify. He has, at least sometimes, very good intel

Ogl does have some information. In particular, he knew the specs of the K7 quite a bit before it was released.

The April fools joke worked so well, because the specs really were quite close to what I would imagine a first Pentax full frame camera would have. If Pentax releases one, I wouldn't doubt at all that it would spec about there (probably look somewhat different than the photo though).

If it is going to be Pentax's first Full Frame camera coming out, they should initially come out with a bright colored camera like yellow or silver or Pentax red then get promoted/marketed with the yellow or Silver eye catching color. Then after a month or 2 come out with the normal black colors. When people see the magazine with the Pentax FF they will recognize it right away instead of the bland black.
