Yes the K-30 is the only current (being manufactured) Pentax dslr. Still you can buy new K-5 cameras for a while. Maybe for a year or longer. Prices for the K-5 might even go up a little. It did for the K-7 after the K-5 was released. Still just selling old stock.
It is very likely that the K-5 replacement is now being or soon to be produced for the upcoming September release. The question is how much of a upgrade the K-5 replacement is going to be. Some rumors has the new camera being a K-5n with some updates from the K-30. These rumors also mention a tilting or swivel screen.
I really think the more exciting news will be at CP+ in January, which I still think is going to be a true pro-level APS-C camera.
Still good to see that the K-5 had a real long (for modern dslr cameras) manufacturing cycle. I am glad to own two of these excellent camera bodies.
