Full frame?

Sorry, but PF bylaws require it to be brought up in every thread.
Unlikely. In fact, a pro APS camera is more likely.
According to my sources, whos reliability is yet to be proven, we will see the 24mp K-5 replacement; an entry level DSLR, and maybe a mock-up of future 645D developments. A pro APS DSLR is also a possibility (if so it won't come this year).

I would like a pro APS-C DSLR next to my full frame K-1.

It was already here, but it was discontinued. So, it IS time for FF now.

As I said elsewhere and was slammed for - Pentax will have a 4 camera lineup that includes a K-r replacement, the K-30, a K-5 replacement, and the 645d or 645dII. My hope is that in addition they'll release several accessories like a new high-end flash and several new lenses. The interviews back in the Jan-March timeframe with Japanese Pentax representatives seemed to indicate that was the direction they were going. The K-01 is a dog and even their regional representatives don't talk about it, set it up with charged battery at their events, etc. Sales of the K-30 appear to be brisk per the Pentax Rep and much more so than any other recent release (Yeah!).

They will announce a 40 mp slightly over full frame in a K5 body! All weather sealed! And 5 new super sharp and fast weather sealed lenses to cover from 10-600 mm! And then!!!!! Yeah, not going to happen.

I just want a Full Frame sensor in my Fuji X10 body.......I thought this was a good place to post it, along with other FF dreams and fairy tales?

So true, just count the posts on the K-3 thread. Don't know whether to or but it's what we do when not taking or posting images.
I cannot imagine letting go of my K-5 in the near future.. but why do I double-check which of my lenses are full-frame friendly?

That coud just be your region. And also, a flat battery while the other cameras ere all still charged could indicate it could have been used more on that tour before it actually got to your location (especially liveview 100% it would use the juice faster than a VF DSLR or mirrorless compact). So contrary to your conclusion, I would say the opposite that the K-01 receiving no interest or use whatsoever would leave the battery fully charged instead.

It actually says to me the reps didn't correctly guage the interest in the K-01 to actually bother charging the battery sufficiently to cope with the handling and use it would get. So any disinterest expressed by the reps would be their own projected onto the audience, ie them not talking about it and leaving it with a flat battery so you can't even try it out when you went to pick it up anyway.

And how many units will Bloomies sell?

As for not gauging the level of interest, there was none. It sat, untouched, through the entire evening until I picked it up with <10 minutes left.

Sounds reasonable...
