Agreed. At the same time, the K-01 has reportedly great IQ. If some sort of optional viewfinder were available, or a rangefinder permutation of the K-01, perish the thought, I might go for it as a walk-around option. Problem is, I don't like the pancakes, not convinced they'll do. In the end, the X100 or its successor might suit me better, or better still, the Fuji GF670...
I do expect a 645D2 to be announced, even if not yet there. It does not matter much, have to win next weekend's lottery anyhow. But I still believe that Ricoh/Pentax will win if they have both a valid 645D development and an FF, no matter how little money they might initially make on FF.
Until then I'll still be the happy owner of a 645N system, even though it is seriously challenged by a 60 year old Rolleiflex at the moment. Where is a digital camera with a waist level finder and native square format?
