Several Stock Photo sites are now only accepting photographs taken on full frame cameras.
Do you have a source for this? I shoot quite a bit of stock and this is the first I've heard of it. Which agencies?

Well this is a hot afternoon in Lisbon, 34º C and I was on my way out for some ice-cream, but turned back instead for new news!!! What´s up!! Where do we stand? Please state your preferences quickly, as the iceman would say " Well then, which flavors? FF, MF or just Strawberry cheese cake?!?!?!"

Good things are coming, but next week a full-frame isn't one of them

How do they want to check this?
It's easy to have a primitive fully automated process running on your PC which turns P&S picture files into "FF" ones (resizing and metadata retouching is all you need).
No way they can tell, especially not for typical stock photos. They would need forensic skills and spend quite some time on individual files to analyze this.
The avarage amateur they want to avoid would not know how to do that.. Even I don't know how and my pics were asked for under the USA fair use annoyance so I am quite sure some stock agencies might have liked them too...

I dont shoot stock so I dont know but I have heard the same thing from a fellowshooter who wanted to go to stock agencies... instead of going FF he went to an APS-C accepting agency...

"Good things are coming"???
Maybe four aps-c cameras, one medium format, one interchangeable lens 1/2.3" p&s, one tele-lens, and two zoom or prime lenses?

I will believe that when I see a link or two to the pages of those stock agencies that only accept FF.

In this day and age when you can have APS-C bodies that outrank even some of the latest FF bodies on DxOMark's IQ scores, there seems little reason for stock or other image libraries to spurn APS-C. I know Getty don't turn away APS-C.

maybe you should wait until quarter 2, 2013. Your K-5 is more than good enough

Why would you replace a K-5 with a K-30?

To the Pentax FF dreamers, It may not be a FF announcement, but I still think it will be worth sticking around...

hope they give us at least information about their future plans concerning full frame ... I am going full frame in 2013 or early 2014 and I would like to use my beautiful FA (*, Ltd) in the future but if they don't offer me the option they won't get my money and I will lose money by selling my stuff and going with nikon
