I think they're saying, "you're going to see another APS-C camera from Pentax that gives even the FFs a run for their money." And they just might even be referring to the 645DII too!
Yes, I think it will be both, with the "645DII" being much lower in price and/or higher in resolution (or even high-ISO capability). A FF may also be announced or hinted at, even though it may be released in 2013 - perhaps by something as simple as a DFA lens or two, or a renaming of existing, previously roadmapped, or new lens(es) to indicate FF.

People are still dreaming about "much lower prices"?

My wishlist:
1) Time off work.
2) Money for a plane ticket to somewhere beautiful where I have never been.
3) My current gear to take pictures at 2).

I think we are more likely to get an affordable FF at photokina than items 1 & 2

Unless they have a counter for the Nikon d600 and Sony a99, they should probably expect even deeper enthusiast customer base loses...

I can do 1) but then I don't have 2)

Maybe I'm getting old but I used to think new gear was the best thing that could happen. Now it seems that time to use that gear is what I want most.

Yes, personally I would love APSH, because all DA lenses will still work on that format. But I'm the only one here, I think.
It makes sense in terms of the lens line-up...

I'm not going to NZ unless I can stay there for more than a month. Darn that place is so majestic.

Our plans have had to change, alas, but we had NZ as the first stop in a rent-a-flat and see-if-we-like-it retirement. Nelson looked good (via the Internet magic carpet) and then we found someone who lived there for year on sabbatical at an avian research facility and gladly vouched for the community.

BTW Transit, will you take me down the pub, as well?

Let's hope so.

It wasn't a "FF is coming" comment, but if they don't announce a FF "soon", that guy has every right to tweet back a large "WTF??".

Since it's an Australian, it will be "WTF, where the F is my F FF camera!".

While the rest of the world is waiting for a FF, in Australia we are waiting for a FFF.
