If true, I don't care about more AF points. I'd rather have smaller AF points. Especially on the K-5, the center one is just too big.
An adjustable AF point would be cool.

Maybe a spot AF option in addition to the regular size AF areas.

where are the P&S? I know they are supposed to be Ricoh but Pentax just for dslr and Ricoh just for the P&S does not provide a P&S starting point, many future dslr owners start with a P&S...

There is a rumor that RH and Adam are the same person.
How is that possible Adam has a sense of humor and is often correct.

Yea, and his English suddenly gets much worse every time he comes out of the phone booth dressed as RiceHigh!

If so, it would have been disturbing to see the arguments Adam had with himself some time ago when he asked himself to withdraw from posting promotional things like the above on the forum, after which he signed himself off for good... Confusing for no good to say the least...

Most current Pentax cameras already have this option; case in point the Pentax K-01. Page 93 (and other referenced pages) shows that the K-01 has a spot setting for focus in addition to a spot area for metering. Also many cameras have selectable focusing zones; typically using the meni arrows on the back of the camera.

Spot metering is no spot AF, and manual selecting AF points or focusing zones is not spot AF.

You base that on RiceHigh?

Photokina is the beginning, not the end!
Pentax Ricoh barely had time to sort out most stringent issues, IMO - so we shouldn't expect everything to be launched at once.

Exactly, this is one of the reasons why I'm suspicious about the claim that the K-300, K-5n and K-3 will all be announced at Photokina along with the 645DII.

This pretty much is everything already camera wise!
