Prices are irrelevant ... keep praying and hoping to see the FF holy grail one day ... a must have, at any cost!

If they go with the rumored Sony FF sensor, not sure if that will out-resolve the current crop of Pentax FF lenses...

You mean a combination like bad/expensive/heavy/large/slow? I guess that's really a permutation ...... never mind. (Just trying to break the boredom.)

hummmm.... K3 or K3S eh? Sounds like they are going after the D800 using APS-C. I'll bite.

Really, for my needs a FF is not really a priority, I like the extra reach APS gives me...24mp is more than enough I think, and I like the rumor, even though there could be no truth to it at all.

SPOT metering and focusing is all I use, so I could give two craps about 21 point AF. I can't stand the camera deciding things for me, especially focus. I just hope its as quick and accurate, or more so, than that of the K30.

I'm excited!

I'm also hoping for more info on this "limited zoom" hinted at on the roadmap.

I know theres lots of SDM issues, but maybe I'm lucky...but I haven't had SDM issues with my 3 DA* lenses. Watch they will all bugger up on me during my wedding shoot later this month...

I am hoping if they do come out with articulating screen they keep it on the low and mid range cameras only do not want or need it on my next upgrade. There is no way that they came make it unbreakable and it is just one more thing to go wrong.

you just don't understand, do you: pentax would be saved, if they would just listen to him. saved, i tell you! they would have been saved years ago, if only... and all this pain and suffering, and the lack of the fullframe which has killed and buried them every photokina and in between for the past 10 years, and all this business with global warming and the economic crisis the euro and and.. if only they'd wake up and listen to him. the world is unfair

So negative, and all that because of a rumour? They are just restarting, give them a chance

Many many more new people will buy K-30, K-300, even K-01 and Q those will upgrade to other bodies and lenses creating new customers for pentax (the people begging for FF have gear and werent buying anything new anyways). It is the entry models that make all the money and generate revenue paying for the R&D of the new initially less/non profitable products like FF.
Good point, but those FF buyers will suddenly spend $4000 or more on a new camera plus a couple of zoom lenses - or at least some new lens they realize they're missing. So it will get them out of their non-spending rut, and generate significant revenue from each. But until that happens, your analysis makes sense.

On the contrary: go on, people! Bash to your hearts content! It's the last occasion you've got, because the K-mount is getting stronger and stronger!

I'm expecting great things from pentax. Photokina is very close.
