Exactly, this is one of the reasons why I'm suspicious about the claim that the K-300, K-5n and K-3 will all be announced at Photokina along with the 645DII.

This pretty much is everything already camera wise!
Is it?

If it sounds too good to be true, it definitely is!
But maybe this is RiceHigh's tactic (with ogl's help): claim Pentax will launch lots of things at Photokina when they won't; this way after the Photokina announcement, instead of "nice cameras/lenses, I might buy one" there will be only "WTF OMG they only launched X cameras and Y lenses, where is the XXX and the YYY and the ZZZ I'm jumping Nikon NOW!"

This is no surprise. There is no 16-50 replacement in the roadmap, and the DA*16-85ish is scheduled for 2013 or later.

So much for Pentax's claim that every DSLR will support 100% coverage.

The 18-200 could be good to replace the 18-135. The K-5n rumor from 6+ months ago was spot on- articulated screen and all. If the price is right, this could sell well.

Pentax sure is getting a lot of use out of that 16MP sensor, 5 bodies now? I don't mind, ISO 80 on my K-5 rocks.

I hope we get some official word that backs up RH's other comments on an impending FF. I don't care if it comes 2013, I just want to know they're making it, and aren't too stubborn to ignore it any longer.

Let's not believe unsubstantiated rumors so easily.

Some of this is right, it seems, but some of it is pure guesswork!

Yes. It is. The only thing left would be a FF camera which Pentax has shown no sign so far of producing.

And of course the K-01 and the Q - but the K-300 is touted as basically a K-01 with a viewfinder and the Q is a P&S with interchangeable lenses.

RiceHigh is just setting up for some more criticism of Pentax. He's forecasting everything under the sun, so he can jump all over Pentax for not delivering. I wish that guy would find another brand for his weird fetish.

But if it is going to release in 2013, this will be a good time to announce it / show prototype?
I am waiting for this lens as well.

I hope it won't be a replacement for that good kit lens.. while it's not a stellar performer, its build, range, and overall ease of use is not a complete letdown. The "high mag zoom" is probably a replacement for the discontinued DA 18-250

As soon as there's FF, he'll have nothing to babble about anymore.

Most likely.
People will burn Pentax alive, for not meeting their unreasonable expectations. It's hard being Pentax

Most people who were "going to die or off themselves" without FF have already left. Others will whine but will stay, others will leave.

Many many more new people will buy K-30, K-300, even K-01 and Q those will upgrade to other bodies and lenses creating new customers for pentax (the people begging for FF have gear and werent buying anything new anyways). It is the entry models that make all the money and generate revenue paying for the R&D of the new initially less/non profitable products like FF.

This is exactly what Ricoh should be doing for Pentax and in the correct order. When Pentax does release a FF all the whiners that left will come back for their limiteds and the same reasons that drew them to pentax to begin with, and if not, the forums will be that more much pleasant without all of the moaning
