So far, none of my wanted improvements to the Q has been implemented.

No EVF.

No mention of any improvements to legibility to the LCD screen in bright light outside.

No mention of focus peaking to assist with manual focus.

No mention if shake reduction will be active with the K mount adapter.

There have been no Ricoh branded camera announcements.

I still hope for a Q mount and a K AF mount module for the GXR.

Shake reduction is available with the adapter. Pentax Adapter Q for K-mount Lenses B&H Photo Video

I was personally hoping for a wireless flash mode, and ability to use manual mode with the AF450G flashgun.

I'm very excited about the 06 zoom. Still need to get the 02. Hopefully I'll get the Q-K for my bday and one of the lenses for christmas, and the other for valentines day. (oct, dec, feb) yea, I have high expectations of my wife. :P

I do want an equivalent of 85mm prime at least 2.0 though.

I don't understand why a body only option is not available upon release. If it is the sales people at Henry's don't have a product SKU for it and only seem to be getting in the zoom kits.

I would hope that they release a body only and also start selling the 01 prime lens on its own. (and if it is already sold on its own somewhere I haven't seen it lol)

I see that the Q10 comes in 97 color variations in Japan!

The silver with brown leather looks terriffic. I wish they offered the K-5 in the same style...

Agreed. Not selling body only made sense for the original Q, for the simple reason that no Q-system lenses had been available before anyway, and as such the reasoning goes that every buyer will at least want one lens. Of course, now with the Q10, Q owners wanting to upgrade to the Q10 (practice still has to show whether this is a significant upgrade) may not require an additional lens, as such a body only offer is what's required to satisfy that existing user base. I suppose the body only option will be possible somehow?

Maybe this is sad on my part, but even if they offered all 97 combinations here in the US, I'd probably still buy black on black.
