Hmm, I think I like the boxy design of the current Q better.

These images sure look like the real thing. This is great news! Esp because of the new life this will put into the Q-system, which is a great thing for existing Q-owners/lovers (incl. myself). I'm sure new optics are bound to follow the new body, and this may mean the announced but still not materialized Pentax K-to-Q adapter may appear in the shops some day too?

BTW, I do prefer the look of the original Q too, so I'll probably not upgrade the body, but just invest in the lenses.

Hope Pentax doesn't announce too many goodies on the DSLR front (APS-C) to leave me some budget to invest in my Q...

Would the Sony RX100 sensor fit in the Q?

Just held my Q next to the images, and if they are the real thing, that means the sensor will be the same size exactly.

I hope it does at least one thing better than my own Q: a much shorter start-up time. My Q takes several seconds to start up, determining the remaining number of shots before I'm able to shoot it. Not very useful!

doesn't appear to have the nice popup flash...

.. and agreed to others, the first Q is more appealing IMO.

Built-in flash may be fine.
It does have a hot shoe on the other hand which I think is very nice.

The Q10 does have a gap below the flash just like the Q, so the built-in flash should be present.

Same as the original Q, which BTW has a flash that pops up. There is no indication (from the images at least) that the new Q won't have the same pop-up mechanism.
