If you already have a K5, chances are you are already so well pleased that none of this matters much to you....it sure doesn't to me!

Regards!

What a pathetic attempt at this forgery, if you can call it that. Who could possibly believe that any camera manufacturer would duplicate everything except the II designation.
So you, and possibly others too, failed to notice that the back LCD of the II and IIn is much different to the one in the K-5?

How? I have a screen protector on my K-5 so I may be missing a difference when I hold my K-5 next to the images and compare but to my eye there is no difference.

Pentax name is writen on the bottom plastic on K-5 II while it is on the screen on K-5...

Well spotted. I wonder why this change was made, unless solely to make the camera look a little different?

Again, I am looking through my screen protector but the PENTAX name appears on the frame of the K-5 not on the LCD itself on my K-5.

K5 IIs is probably a aa-filterless version.

I rather wonder what the K5-to-K5 II differences are.
There's no difference because there will not be a "II" version. Even an AA-filterless would come too late!!

Is it just the rubbish pictures, or is the leather pattern more pronounced on the II?

So the difference is that the plastic from the body extends over the LCD more? Someone above said it's MUCH different. I don't know anything about LCD technology, does the lack of the border around the viewable screen mean anything? I don't consider what I see significantly different at all.

Looks like the screen is recessed on the K5II as well which would be nice - I cant seem to get a screen protector to stay on my K5 as the edges are somewhat exposed and when in my bag it must rub the protector slightly and off they come.

I’ve handled the actual successors last week (pre-production model).
These pictures are fakes.
