First image of the Pentax DA 560mm f/5.6 lens

Detailed specs:

Employ an optical system similar to astronomical telescope, descriptive power is very good, especially in the distance
Seven elements in 6 groups, 2 ED glass lens configuration sheet
HD coating of newly developed high transmittance than
The maximum diameter of 130.3mm, 521.7mm length
Squeeze nine wings (circular aperture)
Minimum focusing distance is 5.6m
0.1 times the rate of up to photographing field
Dust-proof and drip-proof structure, the sealing station 29 months
The plug-in filter 40.5mm

Several images of the Pentax products were leaked on Facebook earlier today.
The picture above shows the new Pentax DA 560mm f/5.6 lens which were already known to be slightly different from the prototype.

The design is slightly different from the prototype images that were seen several months ago. One of the unique features of the DA 560mm comes with the possibility of disassembling or collapse it. The lens has a long focus designed to provide lower optical aberrations without raising cost. The price which is still unknown, is expected to be lower than similar lenses from other manufacturers. The Pentax DA 560mm f/5.6 lens is expected to hit the stores in the first quarter of 2013.

Wow ! There is a filter holder like on 645 25mm !

But why white ? Has Ricoh been acquired by Canon ?

Heat issues. Weren't the long A*-lenses and F*-lenses also white, while the FA*-lenses were silver-painted?

Here are some smaller ones that have the 560. Interestingly, if you look closely at the bottom left image you can see that it says SMC and not HD for this one.

Look how small they make the 'Pentax' logo now on the 560, compared to the good old days. Even the font used for 'Pentax' is different.

If you have to shout your name, it's a sign of insecurity. I always thought that large lettering on the longer lenses were a bit vulgar - not unlike the huge names on the tailgates of older Japanese utes (known as pickups elsewhere in the world).
