Now it's official Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 in Pentax mount

So it's finally official that this lens is now available in Pentax mount. I would assume that means right away. Lets hope. As the 28-75 f2.8 is an awesome lens, this should be a good performer as well.

Thanks Peter
I am sure Tamron would learn a lesson from the Pentax Fiasco with the DA*16-50 and I would expect it to be as good or better than the 28-75 f/2.8 tamron. (one of my personal favorite lenses)..I will be getting one.Hopefully it will be in the same Price range as is bigger brother...

The Tamron 17-50 2.8 has been and still is one of the more popular lenses today. People and reviewers have given it good marks, so I see this as a plus for K-mount users.
