OGL did suggest something similar although he does foresee a more advanced K-3
OGL Says Originally posted by ogl I don't think so...K-3 will be flagship model and close the line of APS-C cameras.
And it could be high-end camera till FF realese.
That is two indications of the end of high end APS-C.
Worryworry, will they make a FF in the body of a K-5? Not bigger?
BTW I was about to make a remark in the other thread when I had to do something else, the screen for typing was still open so I do have the quote which suggested that available

This suggests a stop-gap while we wait for FF, so no more advanced APS-C in near future... Which I am more interested in and if there is one thing that annoys me greatly is that Pentax releaes are rarely if ever available (exception K-5 but that was very dicey with all the stain issues) in time for Carnaval... I had some hopes but they are shattered.
Oh well, maybe I could use the Samyang Tilt Shift..
