Thank you, I missed that one. It seems the 12-28 is a replacement for the 12-24, so then it's IMHO very likely that this is the lens. Of the lenses jointly made by Tokina and Pentax, this one is the only Tokina design, isn't it?

Both the 12-24mm and the new 12-28mm are Tokina designs (their optical formula, I mean).

I would prefer the 11-16 2.8 with SDM in DA* version.
Then with the 16-50 and 50-135 Pentax would have the best DX zoom trinity.

I'm afraid that the DA zoom - which is not a DA*zoom will be the successor of the DA55-300, so nothing comparable; if it is a DA100-400/5,6 I'll get one !!

Yeah, that'll be awesome, too. Great alternative would be the wide-angle zoom WR, a 16-85WR and the 50-135...Anyhow, I am waiting for the next announcements before taking any decisions... be it either Pentax or Canon.

Basically the DA18-270 and the DA560mm is in there. They also update the picture of FA ltd to silver color one.

The K-mount lens map is linked in English as a PDF on the Pentax Japan site. There's also maps for the 645D and Q lenses. The k-mount map isn't as recent as the one linked from Facebook which is curious.

praise and profit are two different things.

Voigtlander 125mm is also a super macro but is also not made anymore
