While hopefully SAFOX X is even more improvement over IX+ in decisiveness and consistency in AF selection (if the cross type lands on two subjects, it should consistently select the same subject to provide AF reliability) - there is an expected limitation based on the large AF points.
So my personal expectation is that the AF response is consistent, while providing better low-light accuracy and avoiding any front/back-focus issues under tungsten lighting.
To further clarify consistency - sometimes when aiming at the same point, the AF system in my k-x will choose the front subject, and other times it will select the rear. It would be my expectation that it selects one consistently so I know what I'm getting. And maybe an option to change it
@Ken - did that model come with the event, or did you bring her yourself
