Yep, i agree. I bought my K5 in Feb of 2012 and myself/others at the time were saying this is the last camera i'm going to buy for awhile, the K5 is perfect, etc..
A friend just bought a D600, and he told me that there were reports of the shutter spreading dust to the sensor. I've been poking around the Nikon D800D600/ forum on Dpreview, and i couldn't believe the amount of anti-Nikon rhetoric on that forum, some very unhappy customers..
The K5IIs pictures look really good, but maybe i'm just getting too old, or too cheap (more like it) to buy a new camera every year, and go thru the drama of sorting everything out. My K5 is still performing admirably and taking good pictures, rain or shine, with a really quiet shutter, I'm going to keep it for another year before i poke my head up to see what's going on in the market place.
