Bah, who's going to find it amongst there! :P

That said, these are pretty good shots... 3rd shot at ISO 1600 looks pretty fantastic and the 5th shot with the K-5IIs handles the ripples really well and renders them nicely. The final shot has the fur quite sharp!

Also, Banff... definitely a good place to take photos!

Here are some 100% crops from the IIs samples.

I figured the second of the IIs set (numbered 06) would be the best to find false color. I had to look pretty carefully and this is all I found:
Name: bod_mainImg_06_crop.jpg
Views: 9914
Size: 137.0 KB

Then here are a couple of crops from the first IIs sample:
View Picture EXIF
Name: bod_mainImg_05_crop1.jpg
Views: 12027
Size: 134.3 KB
View Picture EXIF
Name: bod_mainImg_05_crop2.jpg
Views: 9730
Size: 206.3 KB

Both shots are at f/8, so we might already be getting to a bit of diffraction softening.

These samples shots are almost always so boring photographically other than that, it does look very good.

I recognize the Banff Springs Hotel. Looks like somebody made a trip to Banff National Park (Canada). Is that Moraine Lake?

Banff for the win.

The examples look good. What would be more useful is a side-by-side between the K-5, K-5II, and K-5IIs wherever possible. It is possible that there will be a difference between the K-5 and K-5II sensors in ISO and DR performance. Also some PEF/DNG files would be nice.

Bragging rights.

However, if there really is a 24MP version of the K-5 coming out next year, there'll be even more to think about, especially if there's an AA-filterless version, which this latest information suggests would be on the cards. Really, though, it's hard to see the practical value in chewing up more hard-drive space, unless you're making a living from it or making very large prints.

Well, gotta admit, the sample shots for the k-5II/s are a bit better than the sample shots provided by Nikon for their D800 lol...

#5 and #6 are pretty good JPG's, considering that with distance shots you have to cope with some atmospheric haze, even in still, cool climate locations. Colours and detail are very good, IMHO.

If they shot with some good primes, the results would also probably be better. RAWs would be better too, of course, to examine and PP.

Would also be nice to have a shot comparison with the K-30.
