That is so true. This weather proofing is a bit overrated in that unless the lenses are proofed, it is meaningless. Sure, DA* are nice, but SDM are lame. Not a big fan of weather proof kit zooms either. I suppose they can weather proof DA ltds, but doubtful that it will happen . . . .
