The body is larger than a Nex, but the lens is smaller, and camera+lens are equiparabile. Not developing the in-body lens, it seems that they are killing the K-01 idea. I'd say it's understandable, as Ricoh has the GXR to sell, while the K-01 was a Hoya project.
I would find such a drop very sad.
The K-01 market failure is in my opinion due to the "play-school" appearance for at least 50%.
The idea is excellent, and they should only have used this concept :
- with "X-pro" like oriented APS-C
- or with FF sensor
- with several lenses from the start
And in any case rather with serious design than with - for a lot af photographers - "fashion styling"
