Something to pass the time while we are all waiting for release day.
I just checked some on-line retailers here in Australia and this is what I found (no need to say where)
Pentax K20D (body only): $1559.00 aud. ships in 2 weeks.
w/- 16-45 or 17-70 $1899.00 aud. ships in 2 weeks.

Whats happening in your part of the world?

Wow, i thought they were looking to make a bit more of a profit on the new camera/s?? 1899 AUD with a 16-45/ 17-70 is nearly the exact same price converted to NZ dollars for the K10D/18-55 when it hit the shelves! (you sure thats not including GST?)

You have very good prices for Pentax DSLRs lately. Really good. Lenses is another story...

Too bad, I won't travel to Australia soon, $1559-GST (you have terrific tourist refund scheme

) would be $1417. I would definitely get one for such price.

I ordered mine at CDM photo in St.-Jérome. You can access their website by googling "zone image". Their prices are decent and the owner knows his stuff.Good luck.

Apparently the K20D has been seen in shop windows in Melbourne. Any sign of its Korean cousin?
Latest price I have heard of is $1539 body only.
