Is the GXR 28mm Equivalent, or is it actually 28mm (which would make it 42mm Equivalent)?

I think people will be disappointed if they think an APS-C GRD will be less than $1000. Unfortunately, the Fuji X100 already set the market price, and even the GRD IV is not cheap (currently it is about $550).

for GRD i think it is facing a dilemma. I just recently purchased a GXR +P10module for around $340, and i don't think GRD can ever make this price. GRD with a APSC sensor--- i don't think it is a good idea though.

It's 18.3mm written on the lens. They just call it a 28mm.

This is because of the nature of the GXR system being able to have many different size sensors in varying camera units, using the 35mme standard makes sense.

For example the GXR S10 24-72 mm zoom is 1/1.7" sensor so its lens is actually 5.1-15.3mm, which is basically meaningless when sitting next to the APSC-sensor GXR A12-50mm which is 33mm because of their differing crop factors, ie the S10's 15.3mm focal length is actually 50% longer than the A12's 33mm, rather than 50% shorter.

OK, thanks for the info...that actually makes this module a lot more interesting to me. I have a Pentax-K 28mm lens and it is a normal focal length (which i find hard to use). This module is a lot wider and more practical for me .
