I have K-5II (bought few days ago), but I can't read the RAW files with Photoshop.
The update you posted is about Aperture. No way for updating Photoshop?

Camera Raw 7.3 and DNG Converter 7.3 Now Available

If you don't have CS6 you're out of luck. DNG should work regardless of Camera RAW version.

I'm still curious as to why you would need to update Apple Camera RAW for the K-30 and K-01, neither uses PEF. Unless they are updating EXIF codes.

I think an update to ACR was recently released that adds support for the K-5 II. If not, then it's available as a release candidate version.

Because, aperture 3 have presets for every camera RAW even dng witch automatically sets sharpness, saturation, etc to what is consider as that camera model default.

I have PS CS 5.1.
I've found the update but actually is for CS6.

I've opened DNG even with old versions of ACR. CS 5.0 works without problems.

Indeed. Results for the Q are much improved over general dng. Especially in low light, where the blue channel got me freaking out regularly. I am a happy camper now. :-)

If I understood correctly, the Q is finally supported but the Q10 is not yet (for another year??)

Maybe year maybe less, until next update for sure. What bothers is the lack of K-01 souport.

This update has made me very happy. Finally, the reds on my K5IIs look like the way I like them. If K-01 is being discontinued, maybe we will not see any support from Aperture?

IT works, it's just that the software can't pre-calibrate colours to the camera specifics

I'm upset about the lack of K-01, as is similar (equal?) to K30 in terms of sensor / processor. Yes it's DNG, but without the profile photos look bad and you have extra work, as i83N says.
I have always liked and used Aperture but Apple is slow at these things.
