I can't quite make that out. A K-3, K-3s a 645DII? Excellent! The K-3 in April, that's when I always get my bonus! How convenient.

K-3 in April, so that's going to be another April Fools joke isn't it?

K3 would go along with the current naming convention [K7, K5, K3], if that's the case sounds like it will be another cropped sensor and not full frame, can't see why they wouldn't follow everyone is with a different naming convention for different sensor technologies. Now, there is a K[SOMETHING] above that, can't make it out though.

EDIT: Ok, ogl clarified it, K3V...

They have the K-3 and K-3s listed in April. Don't tell me they ran with the silly April Fools' joke too.

Of course, if it's true then I'll be telling Pentax to shut up and take my money.

Also, it makes me wonder if they'll make a K-300 to replace the K-r...

It seems to me - it's forecast for SERIOUS machines only. Anyway, K-30 is not for 1 year cycle, but longer.

As for APS-C K-3 - a lot of sources said about Spring of 2013. 645DII - too. GRD V - there is rumor about prototype.

I think that we can also expect new lenses from roadmap on April, June and September.

K-3 means - K-5II and K-30 will be cheaper. Rather solid line of APS-C machines.

Isn't it kind of early for K-3 though since K-5 II were just released not that long ago? Unless they plan to lower K-30 price to entry level, make K-5 II the mid level and K-3 the high end.

That would be pretty ironic honestly!

Well, the K-5 II is still essentially the same thing as the K-5, which is due for an upgrade in many areas. As great as the K-5 is, Pentax can't keep it around forever, especially now that Nikon's D5200 24mp sensor is outperforming the K-5's 16mp sensor.

I think - yes. K-30 is too cool for entry-level.
